This link is to donate to the PBS Foundation!
If Romney is elected President, he wants to cut funding for PBS. Regardless of whether or not that happens, educational public-access television is something that’s really important. If you want to keep shows like Sesame Street, Antiques Roadshow, NOVA, and Frontline on the air, as well as lots of independent local shows, please consider donating to PBS. You can donate any amount you want! Even $1. And it’s tax-deductable! PBS provides opportunities for many people who wouldn’t otherwise have them :) Feel free to reblog/share, even if you aren’t going to donate!
From the website:
“PBS’ mission is to create content that educates, informs and inspires. To do this, PBS offers programming that expands the minds of children, documentaries that open up new worlds, non-commercialized news programs that keep citizens informed on world events and cultures and programs that expose America to the worlds of music, theater, dance and art. “
